Please don't dismiss things until you've really given them a go i.e. THE WORLD CUP

Peggy and me off to watch England vs Ghana in local pub The London Trader last night. It wasn’t the greatest display by our boys - 0-0 - so we may have to burn these shirts. But we got free hot dogs at half time, so that was good.

I know this isn’t exactly news, but I’ve got to share it again… I LOVE THE WORLD CUP.

Even before I met my professional footballer (retired) husband (great legs) I loved it. As I’ve said before, it was the pure style of the Italia 1990 Nessun Dorma cone (and Gary Lineker, also great legs) which grabbed my attention – and then I discovered the full glory of it.
