Oh Maggie, that’s hilarious! Growing up, I remember seeing a ‘child’ in our house, and when I told my mum expecting her to tell me I was imagining things, instead she said “don’t tell your [younger] brother and sister”
I taught English to five nurses who worked in a hospital in Sapporo on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. They all had very convincing stories of ghosts. Most of the spirits were former patients, but at least one was a doctor who would help with diagnosis and then fade away.
I love a good ghost story and I’d especially love to hear about your St Andrew’s ghost. My late friend Jean told me about her own ghostly experience there.

Do you think she had seen it too?
I love this story and would love to hear the St Andrew’s one.
We have loads of poltergeists at our place (mainly us being absent-minded...) so I love this. I've come across ghosts though.

It is fascinating that every single culture on earth has the concept of ghosts.

Ooh I would like to hear that. I'll tell mine soon xxx
They are everywhere. My goodness that must be driving you nuts!
