I would buy it, there’s no doubt you would wear it. If necessary you could include in your items for next years allocation. It’s not often you find things that you know you will wear all the time.

No, you’ve got enough of that one style. The grey or navy will be fine instead of black. Suddenly you’ll have your fill of wearing this style and you’ll feel bad that you’ve overdone it! I speak from experience

I have no idea if you should buy another skirt, but you did inspire me to buy a lovely shiny coffee brown bias cut slip skirt. I've received so many compliments, just matching it with sandals and a casual top. I'll be reading all your style notes with close attention for more tips from now on!!

How could you not buy the black!? An absolute must Maggie, if something works buying in multiple colours is unquestionable, in my book anyway...

Firstly, girl math: do a wardrobe check and find something really good to donate to a fancy charity shop. That way someone will buy your thing instead of a new thing and the universe will be in balance. Or, do a Phoebe and find a Joey to buy one thing less.

I need to know, will this skirt work on a 5 ' 4" pear? Haven't worn bias cut since the 90's. Also find skirts annoying as you have to make two decisions a day and choose a top. 🤔

I’d be finding out where those gorgeous gold Mary Janes are from in the top pic! That’s what I’d be doing! I’ve got a tummy so sadly bias cut skirts ‘feel’ funny on me. I bet they look lovely on you tho

Influenced again! What’s the sizing like? I drift between 10 and 12, so not sure of small or medium.

It's a bit tricky. In the summer ones even the 10 is roomy on me, the 12 huge - but the winter cut is smaller and the 10 is a bit snug, but I've stuck with it because a) I'm obviously going to lose 3 kilos and b) the 12 is too long. You could order both and do a return? Let me know!

I bought the M Charcoal and love it. Thanks for the tip. Postage to Oz wasn’t too horrendous, and it arrived quickly.

I’d buy it. You’ve already justified it by wearing the others & you know you’ll get good value out of it. Remember those cashmere sweaters?

Oh I am quietly entertained that others do this internal-political-lobbying too. How about another few weeks of perusing Vinted/Depop/eBay/Facebook market and other fine establishment that keep fabric out of landfill? Or ponder dying the charcoal one, would the various complementary garments/accessories overlap between the charcoal and black skirt?
